Oral history interview with Robert Ochsenfeld, 1992 November 13.
Biographical survey, especially of his time as a student at Marburg unde E. Gr neisen; moved to Physikalische-Technische REichsanstalt (PTR), Berlin, in 1932. Conducted research there which led to the discovery of the Meissner-Ochsenfeld Effect; recollections of Walther meissner, Johannes Stark, Abraham Esau and other colleaguews at the PTR; events there till the end of the war and afterward, especially reconstruction as the Physikalische-technishe bundesanstalt. Note: because of technical difficulties the first part of the interview was lost, dealing especially with the history of the discovery of the Meissner-Ochsenfeld Effect.
