This collection pertains to Dr. Hugh Montgomery's tenure as the director of Jefferson Lab with his journals recording his transition from Fermilab to Jefferson Lab. Dr. Montgomery's tenure saw the power of CEBAF doubled to 12 GeV; the Technology, Engineering and Development Facility (TEDF) constructed (which would go on to receive LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Awards); and the layout of Jefferson Lab turned more into a campus-style with better access to buildings and facilities.
