This collection pertains to the time Dr. Franz Gross spent developing and promoting the science for CEBAF (the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility), as well as notes and correspondences for committees he was a part of during his tenure with Jefferson Lab. As a part of the Jefferson Lab History Project, Dr. Gross was interviewed and also has oral histories pertaining to his time at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. The collection includes material on the College of William and Mary, Department of Energy, Hermann A. Grunder, Southeastern University Research Association (SURA), and the University of Virginia.
