This bulk of this photograph collection consists of 113 black and white negatives taken by Jerome Danberg on October 30-31, 1968 at UC Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory during an event celebrating the 1968 Nobel Prize in Physics being awarded to Luis W. Alvarez. The collection also includes a small number taken of photographs taken between 1971-2007 of Danburg in professional settings (incluidng the Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Shell Bellaire Research Center) and with his family. The photographer for these additional images is unknown. Some of the notable individuals that appear in this collection include Luis W. Alvarez, Roger Bangerter, O. Chamberlain, Eugene D.
