Clinton Burke Gass photograph and slide collection, 1954-1983.
Collection consists of black and white photographs and color slides of both classes that Professor Gass taught as well as as the many Winter Term in Mission trips that he was a part of. These photographs include many of his students. Also included are slides of Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church, Greencastle.
Clinton B. Gass was with the DePauw University mathematics and astronomy department. Positions: Associate Professor, 1954-1956; Professor, 1956-1997; head of the department, 1960-1984; head of astronomy department; John T. and Margaret Deal Professor of Mathematics from 1954 and Professor Emeritus of Mathematics, 1997-2003.
