Jerry Brown permafrost papers, 1963-2012.
These papers contain ICOP papers through his participation in the U.S. Organizing Committee. Files document the International Conferences on Permafrost, from 1963-2012. The papers include meeting records, circulars, programs, reports, CD/DVDs, handouts, posters, as well as related correspondence and photographs.
Jerry Brown holds Honorary degree from UAF (2010). He worked for the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory, and was the Chairman of the U.S. Committee on Permafrost. Brown was President of the International Permafrost Association from 2003 to 2008 during which time the Ninth ICOP was organized and held at UAF.
