Most of the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Institut f r Biophysik (Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Biophysics)'s files from the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gesellschaft era were destroyed after water damage in the institute. A splinter inventory was transferred to the archive in 1983 from the general administration of the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft. The records include personnel records and records of the Oberschlema branch.
