Interviews with people who worked on the Manhattan Project and lived in the secret city at the Los Alamos National Laboratory between its establishment in 1943 and 1945 when the atomic bomb was tested and used to end World War II. Interviewees include military police, security personnel, members of the Special Engineering Detachment, the Army Corps of Engineers, WACs, civilian technicians, maids, and family members.
