Proceedings of the symposium in 1971 sponsored by the American Astronautical Society on the need for international cooperation in space exploration and the benefits to the world community. Talks and discussion emphasize the importance of sharing technology, the use of satellites for global communication and meteorology, the cooperative space shuttle missions of the future, and benefits of cooperation from the viewpoint of the United States, Europe, the Soviet Union, and developing countries.
