Nivard Scheel collection, 1944-1963.
The Nivard Scheel Collection consists of personal papers from his time as a Catholic University of America student. Included are many class notes and notebooks with handwritten notes, computer printouts, experiment reports, and blue book tests (twenty-five in total).
American physicist and school administrator. Ph.D. physics, Catholic University of America (1961). Professional experience includes: president, Xavarian College (1960-1966); principal, Nazareth High School in Brooklyn (1966-1968); assistant to the acting rector, acting rector, vice president for student affairs, Catholic University of America (1967-).
