Adnan Waly, born 1910, was a nuclear physicist working for Fritz Lange in the German General Electric Company (AEG) while pursuing his Ph.D. with von Laue. The laboratory was directed by Ramsauer. Recollections cover the period 1930-1945. During this period, Waly had personal contact with almost all the eminent scientists in Germany, and in other countries involved in nuclear physics.
