This collection contains research notes and office correspondence for the late Russell Bernard Mesler. The bulk of the collection dates from his years of employment with the University of Kansas (KU), 1957-1992, though his student years at KU and the University of Michigan are also represented.

(1949-1951); assistant, assistant professor of nuclear engineering, project engineer, Ford Nuclear Reactor, University of Michigan (1953-1957); assistant professor of nuclear engineering and project engineer, Ford nuclear reactor (1955-1957); from associate professor to professor, University of Kansas (1957-1970); resident engineer, Argonne National Lab (1958); Warren S Bellows distinguished professor of chemical engineering, University of Kansas (1970-1992); faculty research participant, Savannah River Lab, E.I. du Pont de Nemours Co. Inc. (1981); distinguished professor emeritus of chemical engineering, University of Kansas (1992-2011).
