Haase, David G., 1948-
David Haase papers, 1972-2016.
The papers are comprised of files collected throughout Dr. David Haase's career as a professor of physics at North Carolina State University. Series I (Professional Activities Files) include files from conferences, seminars, and organization in which Dr. Haase was a member. Papers from the American Physical Society are included, as well as Haase's notes and visuals from various seminars. Series II (Research Notebooks) include Haase's laboratory notebooks, as well as those of some of his colleagues. Research with R. A. Orban, L. Yadon, and Abdelkarim Saleh is included in these notebooks. And series III (Teaching Files) is the largest series and includes materials from throughout Dr. Haase's teaching career, organized by course number. Syllabi, teaching notes, resources, and exams make up the majority of this series' contents.
Masters and PhD (1975), Duke University; Professor of Physics, North Carolina State University (since 1975); served on committees for the American Physical Society and advisory or local committees for conferences; named 1990 Professor of the Year in the State of North Carolina; received Alexander Holladay Medal for Excellence (1998), Distinguished Service Award (1999), the Pegram Medal for Excellence in Physics Education (2001), and others.
