This collection consists of mostly programs, tickets, pamphlets, and other ephemera from Homer L. Dodge's time as a student at Colgate University. Also included are photographs and correspondence from his student years, reunion material, alumni newsletters, and a small amount of material relating to Ebenezer Dodge. One folder contains clippings and photographs documenting Homer L. Dodge's personal and professional life after Colgate.
American physicist (electrical measurements) and educator. Faculty, University of Oklahoma, including head of physics department (1919-1942), dean of graduate school (1926-1944), and organizer and director of Oklahoma Research Institute (1941-1944). Dodge was also a founder, first president, and member of Governing Board of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) (1933-1939), director of the Office of Scientific Personnel, National Research Council (1942-1944), and president of Norwich University (1944-1950).
