This collection consists of the professional records of Robert W. Fuller, including: Oberlin College committee files (especially documenting the Education Commission and the Governance Commission); budgetary and personnel records; files relating to external organizations, funds, and foundations; curriculum development; student life; and buildings and grounds. Also present are drafts of Fuller's talks and writings, and his general correspondence. Present in the Fuller papers are materials from the preceding presidential administration of Robert Kenneth Carr (1960-1970) and the succeeding administrations of Ellsworth C. Carlson (1974-1975) and Emil Charles Danenberg (1975-1981)
American physicist and administrator. Ph.D. Princeton University (1961). Professional experience includes: Columbia University (1961-1966); research fellow, Center for Advanced Studies (1966-1967); research fellow, Wesleyan University (1966-1967); research fellow, Battelle Seattle Research Center (1967-1968); dean of the faculty, Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut (1968 to 1970); president, Oberlin College (1970-1973).
