Roberts memoirs include his ancestory, childhood memories, undergraduate and graduate years at Princeton (1928-1936), his experiences at the Carnegie Institution of Washington, Department of Terrestrial Magnetism and the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University, his participation in the work of science during World War II including radar jammers, fire control, and guided missils, his work in the democratic party during the Truman, Eisenhower and Kennedy years, his interest and work in arms control.
