This collection contains notes on seminars and talks given by Max Ferro-Luzzi, minutes of meetings, publications, correspondence and working files related to experiments on which he worked.
Max Ferro-Luzzi studied at the University of Rome, where he joined the nuclear-emulsion group of Edoardo Amaldi and graduated in 1955. In 1963 he moved to CERN where he worked in the Track Chambers Division (TC). His most important contribution, using data from bubble chambers, was the discovery and study of baryonic resonances, especially the elucidation of hyperon resonances. He retired from CERN in 1997.
