Recorded interviews and transcripts of Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science faculty and others discussing the history and future of the school. Almost thirty senior scientific and technical staff members were interviewed on audio cassette tapes, including professors of geophysics, meteorology and atmospheric sciences. Interviewees include: David E. Fisher, Robert N. Ginsburg, Howard R. Gordon, Christopher G. A. Harrison, Donald Moore, Claes H. Rooth, F. G. Walton Smith, Harris B. Stewart, among others.
The Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science History Committee, chaired by Dr. Robert N. Ginsburg, began producing the oral history of the Rosenstiel School in 1988.
