Spielbauer, Glen W.
Glen W. Spielbauer papers, 1969-1975.
Letters; manuscripts; laboratory notes; newspaper clippings; photographs. Primarily incoming letters concerning questions raised by Spielbauer's independent research in physics, his published articles and responses to his inquiries concerning certain scientific institutions and their research. Manuscripts are of articles published while in high school and as a college freshman in journals such as the AMERICAN JOURNAL OF PHYSICS, the PHYSICS TEACHER, and the JOURNAL OF THE ELECTROCHEMICAL SOCIETY on x-ray design, cathodoluminescence, electrochemistry, and proofs of relativity. Laboratory notes (n.d.) cover work in electrochemistry, electric fields, high frequency radiation, properties of lead, sound produced by electromagnetism, and the properties of sulfur. Clippings (1971-1974) document Spielbauer's early and enthusiastic interest in physics. Personal photographs (1969-1972).
