Collection includes primary source materials for the history of quantum physics in the twentieth century, collected under the auspices of the American Philosophical Society and the American Physical Society, with a grant from the National Science Foundation. There are transcripts of the oral history interviews, as well as the working papers of the Committee. These include correspondence with famous figures in physics, with some memoirs, photographs, lectures, etc.
Committee formed during 1960-1961 by the American Physical Society and the American Philosophical Society to collect oral history and manuscript materials relating to the history of quantum physics, under the leadership of Thomas S. Kuhn.
