OSA Rochester Section minutes, 1915-1924.
Consists of minutes from the organizational and subsequent meetings of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Optics and, from 1916 through May 1924, its meetings as the Rochester Section of the Optical Society of America.
Founded at the University of Rochester in 1915 as the Association for the Advancement of Applied Optics, its aim was to promote the science of applied optics. In 1916, the Association voted to affiliate with the newly formed Optical Society of America, becoming its Rochester Section.
