Irving Krick papers, 1921-1996.
The collection consists of original meteorological and climatological data (including weather maps and charts) collected by Irving P. Krick and his associates in the United States, Canada, and France. The collection also includes contracts, weather reports, correspondence with and regarding the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), research articles by Krick and his colleagues, and miscellany such as newspaper clippings and daily summaries.
Ph.D., meteorology (1934, California Institute of Technology). Chairman, Caltech Department of Meteorology (1934-1948); U.S. Army Air Forces, Chief of Long Range Research and Forecasting Section (1942-1944) and Deputy Director of Weather Services for the European Theatre of Operations (1944-1945).
