Collection contains very complete documentation of Prof. Stoicheff's career as an internationally known physicist and specialist in laser research. Records such as correspondence, research, manuscripts, talks, addresses, and lectures, span from his early years at the National Research Council, under the mentorship of Gerhard Herzberg, in the 1950s to his time as director of the Ontario Laser and Lightware Research Centre in the 1990s. Collection also documents his involvement in several organizations including Massey College; American Institute of Physics; Canadian Association of Physicists; Optical Society of America; Royal Society (London); Royal Society of Canada.
