McLennan/Parks Family papers, 1883-1990.
This collection consists mostly of correspondence, photographs, memorabilia and diplomas of three members of the McLennan/Parks Family: John C. McLennan, William A. Parks, and Dr. Arthur E. Parks. Included are the diaries of J. C. McLennan for the last two years of his life as well as geological field notebook and expense books belonging to William A. Parks.
John C. McLennan worked at University of Toronto 1900-1932 serving as Physics Professor, Chair of the Physics Department, and Dean of Graduate Studies. William A. Parks served as the head of the Department of Geology at University of Toronto and was Director of the Royal Ontario Museum, 1910-1935. Dr. Arthur E. Parks, son of William A. Parks, graduated from University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in 1930.
