Beverly Charles Dunn student and teaching materials, 1937-1948.
This collection reflects the academic activities of Beverly Charles Dunn. The materials relate chiefly to his own studies but also document his activities as a teaching fellow, including assignments in physics and mathematics courses from the late 1930s through the late 1940s. The physical format of the material ranges from handwritten notes, illustrations and diagrams to typed and mimeographed material. Dunn's work training military officers in the Pre-Radar School is not documented in this collection.
Mathematician and high-frequency physicist. Ph.D., Harvard University (1949). Assistant director of the Naval Electronics Research Laboratory and of the Harvard University Applied Science Laboratories; instructor in physics in the graduate school at Northeastern University, circa 1962-1970.
