Relates to detention of ten leading German physicists (Erich Bagge, Kurt Diebner, Walther Gerlach, Otto Hahn, Paul Hartech, Werner Heisenberg, Horst Korsching, Max von Laue, Carl Friedrich von Weizacker, an Karl Wirtz) in Farm Hall, Godmanschester, Great Britain from May to December 1945. Reports, written by Major T. H. Rittner and Captain P. L. C. Brodie, includes transcrits of surreptitious sound recordings of conversations among the physicists, relating to German nuclear research during World War II, and to reactions to the use of atomic bombs on Japan.
