Collection consists largely of papers relating to courses taught by Sally Dieke in astronomy and her work with local environmental groups. There are also her student notes from courses she took at George Washington University, in chemistry at Cornell, and chemistry, physics and mathematics with Francis D. Murnaghan at Johns Hopkins University. The collection also contains a large number of slides from Dieke's travels.
