The papers primarily consist of materials related to Muzaffer Atac's work at Fermilab and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Smaller amounts of biographical material, materials related to experiments and collaborations other than CDF and CMS, and photographs, slides, and negatives comprise the remainder of the collection.
Physicist who worked for Fermilab from 1968 until 2008. He was a member of the Fermilab CDF and CERN CMS experiments, and his most significant work was in instrumentation.
