The collection includes an ex-apprentice register, employment agreements and Associated Electrical Industries (AEI) research reports to the GEC-Marconi Research Centre; and reprints, a few notebooks and a little scientific and publications correspondence.
Physicist who speciaized in applied optics, Dyson was appointed superintendent of the Division of Mechanical and Optical Metrology at the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, in 1963.
