Interview with J. Robert Oppenheimer for the Saturday Evening Post. The topic of discussion was the atomic bomb. The title of the article, "Behind the First A-Bomb." At the time of the A-Bomb, Dr. Oppenheimer was the director of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. Work on the bomb had been going on since 1939 and Oppenheimer worked with the following scientists during that time: Enrico Fermi, Leo Szilard, Harold Urey, John Wheeler, Eugene Wigner, Arthur Compton, Ernest Lawrence, and Niels Bohr. Oppenheimer discusses what happened leading up and after the detonation.
