J. E. Kennedy papers, 1860-1992, (bulk 1933-1992)
This collection contains personal correspondence, documentation of Kennedy's career with the University of New Brunswick, the National Research Council, Defense Research Medical Laboratories, and the University of Saskatchewan, as well as his extensive research and publications. Kennedy's work in the history of science is notable, and includes research on G.B. Airy, W. Brydone Jack, B.W. Currie, F.T. Davies, early astronomical instruments, 16th-19th century books on astronomy, and the "Moon Hoax" of 1835. In addition, there is material relating to Kennedy's work with various associations including CASCA, IAU, RAS, and RASC.
