Ava Helen and Linus Pauling papers, 1873-2011.
The collection contains all of Linus Pauling's personal and scientific papers, research materials, correspondence, photographs, awards, and memorabilia. The Pauling collection reflects his long and varied scientific career, as well as his and Ava Helen Pauling's (1903-1981) mutual fight against Cold War militarism, nuclear proliferation and radioactive fallout.

On the staff at Ludwig-Maximilians-UniversittĖ M nchen (1926-1927); UniversittĖ Z rich (1926-1927); and the California Institute of Technology (1927-1963); chair of the chemistry division and director of Gates and Crellin Chemical Laboratories (1937-1958); on the staff at Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions (1963-1967); on the chemistry faculty at University of California at San Diego (1967-1969); and at Stanford University (1969-1974), emeritus from 1974.
