This collection contains records of the American Center for Physics (ACP) Board of Directors, created during Bernard Khoury's term as President and Chair of the Board of Directors.The bulk of this collection is comprised of files from the monthly meetings of the ACP Steering Committee (later, Board of Directors). The collection also contains documentation of the establishment of the ACP headquarters in College Park, MD, as well as records pertaining to partnerships with the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
American Center for Physics (ACP): founded in 1992 to serve as the headquarters facility for physics-based organizations, including the American Institute of Physics, American Physical Society, American Association of Physics Teachers, and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.
