Tigner, M.
Papers relating to the CLEO Experiment and the Origins of the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR).
Maury Tigner(1937-) invented the scheme that made the Cornell synchrotron a suitable injector for a colliding beam accelerator. Prior to taking charge of the collider's design, he led Cornell's research in superconducting, radio frequency cavities for the purpose of building more powerful synchrotrons.
