Kagan, Harris.
Papers relating to the CLEO Experiment and the Origins of the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR).
Kagan keeps personal notebooks and carefully documents his efforts to design and build hardware. With the papers of Richard Kass (below), this is an excellent case of a collaboration "colonizing" a new institution.
Kagan became faculty at Ohio State in 1981 after holding a postdoc under Thorndike at Rochester. Kagan, with Thorndike's support, succeeded in obtaining DOE support for building a new vertex chamber for CLEO at Ohio State.
