Autobiography and scrapbooks document Julian C. Eisensteins life at Harvard. The autobiography offers an intensely detailed account of all aspects of academic and social life at Harvard from wardrobe and dating to classes and current events. The scrapbooks include newsclippings, invitations, ticket stubs, programs and administrative and social correspondence. Photographs in the scrapbooks are chiefly of Eisensteins Sheldon Fellowship trip through the western United States in 1941.
Julian Calvert Eisenstein earned his Harvard SB 1941, Harvard AM 1942, and Harvard Ph.D. 1948. He was awarded the Sheldon Travelling Fellowship in 1941 and a Parker Fellowship in Physics in 1942. He became a physicist and professor of physics.
