This collection consists of four books. Three are physics textbooks and one "studienbuch" (record of classes taken) shows Herbert L. Mette's work at the Universitat Gottingen from 1947 to 1951. Courses were taught by Werner Heisenberg, Max von Laue and Max Planck.
A physicist; worked at the Hexagon (today known as the Myer Center) at the United States Army Electronics Command, Integrated Electronics Division, at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey for many years before retiring.
