In this interview, Carl Joseph Christensen discusses his Danish ancestors, growing up on a farm in Provo, the early death of his father, family illnesses including Christensen's recovery from peritonitis, working on a neighbor's farm, his talent singing bass and his invitation to join the Provo Tabernacle Choir, singing in a quartet, his BYU chemistry education, teaching chemistry, working as the head of the physics department for the University of Utah, being president of the Salt Lake Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers and his radiation research. His Brigham Young Unuversity biographical record, a Christmas card and a 1975 Voice of the Pioneers brochure are also in the collection.
