Piddington (1910-) was Chief Research Scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), National Measurement Laboratory, Sydney, Australia 1966-1975. He had been a research physicist with the CSIRO (formerly called the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) Division of Radiophysics 1939-1966.
