Francis J. Norton papers, 1930-1986.
This collection consists of notebooks kept by Francis Norton documenting his spectrometry research at the General Electric Research Laboratory and his research at the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center.
Francis Norton was a researcher at General Electric (GE) during World War II, and helped develop the mass spectrometer. After retiring form GE, Norton continued his research at the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center at the University of Albany.
