The collection is composed of incoming and outgoing documents from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Office of the Director, Lew Allen, and includes correspondence and other manuscript material pertaining to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the United States Department of Defense. Other topics include infrared astronomy, the Galileo and Magellan spacecrafts, the Voyager Project, the Mars Observer Project, and the Keck Telescope.
