This oral history interview discussed Jerome Pine's background and early education, his work at SLAC (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), his switch to neuroscience in 1979; and his continuing interest in precollege science education and his involvement with the California Institute of Technolgy (Caltech) Precollege Science Initiative (CAPSI).
