Also included is some correspondence by William Scott's father, Carl F. Scott; and an article by William Scott's uncle, Roderick Scott.
American physicist (1916-1999). Ph.D., University of Michigan (1941); physics professor at Smith College from 1945-1961; moved to the University of Nevada, Reno and the Desert Research Institute where he taught and oerformed research as an atmospheric physicist.
