This collection chronicles Arthur Kantrowitz's involvement with nuclear fusion, laser propulsion, medical physics, hydrodynamic power, shock tubes, AVCO Everett Research Laboratory, and the faculty of Dartmouth College.
(1913-2008). Ph.D (1947), Columbia University. Professor of physics and engineering at Cornell University and Dartmouth College, visiting professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Founder, president and chairman of defense contractor AVCO Everett Research Labs (1955-1978).
