The interview mainly concerns Miller's work with the University of Pennsylvania on silicon during World War II. Major topics covered are his educational background, how he became involved with the Penn group, the work of the Penn group during the war, his interaction with the Purdue group, Bell Laboratories, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Radiation Laboratory, and Miller's subsequent work in physics.
Physicist, fusion and Star Wars research. Worked for AC Technologies beginning in 1956 when it was known as General Atomics and became director of research in 1959; head of the physics department at U. S. International University in San Diego from 1969 to 1974 when he returned to AC Technologies.
