Dr. Vance L. Sailor is a trained nuclear scientist. He graduated from DePauw in 1943 and received his masters and Ph.D. at Yale University. At Brookhaven he was a leader of the neutron spectrometer group of the physics department. He was technical advisor to the U.S. delegation to the U.N. Conference on Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy at Geneva in 1955.
