Professional experience: US Naval Research Laboratory, Head Rocket Astronomer, Atmosphere and Astrophysics Div., 1954-. Research interests: Atmosphere and astrophysics research in far ultra violet spectra from rockets.
Robert Kreplin spent the summers of 1948 and 1949 at the NRL while finishing his B.A. in physics at Dartmouth University. After receiving his M.A. in 1952, Kreplin returned to the Lab permanently.
