The Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) is a consortium of over sixty universities across the US. SURA operates the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) on behalf of the US Department of Energy and promotes initiatives in nuclear physics, information technologies, and coastal research.
