Halacsy, Andrew
Transformer history collection, circa 1856-1900, 1935-1960 (bulk circa 1856-1960).
Contains patents, photographs, clippings, and articles concerning the origins and development of the transformer. Collected by Dr. Andrew Halacsy and Dr. George von Fuchs for several papers written together on the 1884-1885 creation of the transformer. They brought this documentation together in 1960, when both were members of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers.
