Collection consists of the personal (1933-present) and professional (1960-present) records of Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory's third director, John Peoples, Jr., including: records of the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory (SSCL) from 1993-1994 (during its termination), records of his service for the accelerator laboratories of the world, the American Physical Society, records of the High Energy Physics Advisory Panel (HEPAP), and records as Chairman of the International Committee for Future Accelerators (1992-1995).
